Jules Gerzon is a Dutch diplomat and senior civil servant who has served at the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1995. Most recently, he was Acting Director of the International Enterprise Department (Aug–Oct 2024) after roles as Deputy Director (2022–2024) and Head of International Finance & Enterprise (2017–2022). His earlier career includes postings in New York at the Netherlands Permanent Mission to the UN (First Secretary, 2006–2010) and Berlin (1997–2000), senior roles at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations (2010–2014), and a period in the private sector as Adviser Government Relations at Shell (2014–2017). He holds a Master’s in Macroeconomics from the University of Groningen.
